load balancing using nexthop


hi

i prompt in

ip route add default equalize nexthop via 1.1.1.1 dev eth0 nexthop via 2.2.2.2 dev eth2
where 1.1.1.1 is my ISP one
and 2.2.2.2 is my ISP two
it yields
RTNETLINK answer: File exists

what does it mean? am i successfully doing load balancing?? pls advise. thanks
