Question how to do load balancing on rh 9?

Hello,
I want to install linux virtual server for load balancing on linux redhat 9. The configuration is: virtual server - linux redhat 9
real servers - two windows 2000 running tomcat
I tried the piranha (from redhat) but failed and understood that my version of redhat is not supporting it.
Need some help on: a) if able, how to install the piranha/lvs on rh 9?
b) if not possible, is there any other brand (freeware) that can help me?
Thanks
