Linux and Win2k

I have a Mandrake 9.1 box connected through Ethernet to a Win2k box. I have Internet Connection Sharing working just fine. What I want to do is share files. All the instructions I have found talk about setting up Linux as the host and Windows as the client but I need to do the opposite.

How do you set up file sharing with Win2K as the host?

Thanks,
Ted.

Just create windows shares on 2k as you would if you were sharing to a windows client then use "mount" to mount the share on linux.

Won't he have to use samba between the two, I don't mean to question Guru David_Ross but I've always read that samba is the only way to go...

http://www.bnro.de/~schmidjo/download

With LinNeighborhood I'm able to see all of my shared files under Win2k. This has been the easiest way for me so far. I hope this helped.

Here is a step by step way to set it up..... I wish we could all ways get the steps like this.... for us noobies......

http://www.tweakhound.com/mdk9/mdk9net.htm

It will show that it is for 9.0, but the same info works in 9.1. Except for when you get to the point it ask you to open the program by going to Networking and then others. It will be in Remote Access for 9.1.

I installed the RPM...
