Hi all,
This is maybee stupid, but I'm a newby, and not shure what to do.
I have two networks, 192.168.1.0 and 192.168.1.0
I used redhat 8 as "router", turned the IP_FORWARDING on and volia, users can ping etc.. between this networks without problems.
OK, so now I want to do this:
there is a gateway in 192.168.0.0 network with an address 192.168.0.200 that is hooked to the ADSL line to my provider. Anybody insite it's netowrk (192.168.0.0) can use it with no problem to access the net, but the other network (192.168.1.0) can't, but they can ping gateway without problem.
Gateway of the 192.168.1.0 network is RH8 router (IP_FWD).
How can I make PC's in this network (192.168.1.0) to access net via 192.168.0.200 gateway (which is, I forgot to mention earlier Win2K server with winroute pro, but I can use RRAS if I want).
Sounds like all you need to do is set 192.168.0.200 to be your gateway in all of the 192.168.1.0 systems. If you can ping it, you can access it as a gateway. The application might require special notice to go ahead and also route from the 192.168.1.0 network, though. Not sure about how to do it. Check Tiny's website for more information on that side.
