reconfigure from DSL to LAN
I'm running Mandrake 9.1 on a newish Dell Dimension. Things have been working great connecting to the internet via DSL, but I would now like to connect to a household LAN. I used the networking tool in the Mandrake control panel to tell the box what its IP address & gateway are then to activate the connection, but I'm not able to see/be seen by the network.
I am not stuck on the GUI tools and would love a command line way to do this, but am not sure where to start.
I've used NETSTAT -rn to confirm that my current config is what I think it should be. Pings to myself return just fine and pings to anyone else on the LAN just return a message that the host is not reachable.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
