Is it possible to ssh to a machine under two level routers?


How to connect to a laptop which under to level router. Thanks in advance.

Below is the scenario in my questions:

My home pc ip: 10.0.0.3
First level router ip: 192.168.0.21
Second level router(its public ip): xxx.yyy.zzz.154

My office pc ip: 192.168.0.13
My office public ip: aaa.bbb.ccc.109

How can I ssh to my home pc(10.0.0.3) from my office(192.168.0.13). Is it possible? Please help me.

Just be sure all routers are set to forward.

There might be other ways to use some access method that might use Upnp.

I'm guessing you do not have access/control to what you define as the second level router?

Absolutely correct. So in this scenario, is that possible to make SSH work?

If you had control of your office router you could forward ssh traffic (not necessarily over port 22) to your desk computer and setup a reverse tunnel.

Use a public server whereby both home and office can connect and setup a tunnel.

A reverse SSH tunnel from an accessible external system will be easier to set up and perform better, but second way to get through those routers would be to set up SSH and an Onion service.
