Angry ipv6 tunneling setup issues, /sbin/ip errors

Yeah, I've been battling trying to get an ipv6 tunnel for quite a few hours now, surfing google, and so forth, anyway, when I run /sbin/ip, I get the following error, I was wondering if anyone could explain it to me, and tell me what I could do to fix the problem.

# ip tunnel add sit0 mode sit ttl 64 remote xx.xx.xxx.xx
ioctl: No buffer space available.

help very much appriciated.
