IP addresses conflict


I have LAN network contains windows and linux OS but today appear to me problem all windows computers ( 70 computers )
show to me this message


"Windows-System error
There is an IP address conflict with another system on the network"



How do I solve this problem?

There is no single point solution for this..you have to

1) manually set ip address of all the computers one by one with a note of each one with its name on a paper for your reference
2) enable/configure dhcp server and allow all the clients in network to catch up with the dhcp server

this is completely a manual process.

You probably have wither set a static IP on two computers the same, or you have a DHCP problem we would need more information to help you, do you have know what the IPs are on the computers that are giving you an error?

I reckon you probably have a situation where somebody has manually changed their own IP address settings. They should be locked out from doing that, whether windows or linux machines. Especially windows, amazing the number of systems out there running as 'administrator'. If this is you, you need to change it!

Manual search is the only way i'm afraid!

we are used static IP and there is one computer has virus and send signal for all windows computer
he has same IP


for that when I shutdown this computer these problem have gone
