Interface not found

I just finished LFS 6.3 and so far I've recompiled the kernel about half a dozen times (My own fault)

Now, when I boot I get a message that

Code:
Interface eth0 doesn't exist
I've installed a bunch of drivers into the kernel, but I can't seem to get this figured out...

I build the LFS on virtualbox so I do have a list of choices for what NIC's I want emulated...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
