Intel AX201 wifi 6 as an access point 5Ghz

Hello All,

Has there been any advancements with the Intel AX201 in regards to running in AP mode or hotspot mode via NetworkManger for the Intel AX201 wifi 6 card to work in 5Ghz band ?
Have been out of the loop for some time. Last time knew was it would not run on the %Ghz band due to regulatory restrictions, and dont think back a year ago anyway,,there was any sort of workaround.

TIA
