I want the/a newer network manager on Debian Lenny


I have tried installing the most recent from code, but I get this:

I use unstable...I hope you have installed software "packagesearch" which tells you what dependencies are for packagenames you search for.
It can also be used to list packages.

Online is here
http://www.debian.org/distrib/packages

It might help to post the exact name and version of whatever your target software is called.

I can't help as I run unstable

Yeah, I noticed I could use Sid; but I don't want to use Sid.
I will install a Sid partition soon, because that may be my last alternative.
However, I think there could be a way to get the newer network manager in without using a sid repository.
