Network-manager autoconnect priority on Debian testing/Lenny with Gnome

Hi!

I've been using network-manager 0.6.6 on Debian testing/Lenny via nm-applet. I'm curious if it is possible to set connect priority for wireless connections over wired connections. Using nm-applet I was unable to achieve it.

Here is my case in detail:
I connect Openmoko phone over usb cable to my laptop. Since it is recognized as ethernet device, network manager breaks up the wireless connection (which i typically use) and tries to connect via usb, which I don't want really. It is really very annoying to make NM reconnect to wireless network everytime I connect my phone.
The same happens if I connect ethernet cable.

Do you have any clue how to solve this?

You could take a look at wicd as an alternate network management GUI..

Lenny install instructions are on the download page if you decide to try it out.
I prefer wicd to Network-manager after having tried both,

I do not know if it will resolve your issue or not..
Check out the features and read some of the reviews..
Networks all have profiles, and theres a checkbox for "Automatically connect to this network" so I imagine if you create a profile for that device then Don't check the Automatically connect box it should ignore it..
