Howto Setup Samba Server

I have just installed Slackware 10.1 into a P3-800MHz,256MB SDRAM,40GB Hard Drive,
RTL8139D Network Card.

What is the procedure for setting up a Samba Server such that it can be shared with
other Windows based workstations.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Note: The network is working OK as I am able to ping the Samba Server.

Thanks
