How to turn a router into a wireless card?
Okay, so I own a small motel and I have a mesh network of 4 wireless-N routers set up along the perimeter of my motel for customers to use.
Sometimes I need to log into each one of the routers separately, but I have to physically walk over to the routers and plug in an ethernet cord each time, and it sucks when I need to do it but it's raining outside (they are in weather-proof boxes).
I do have an extra wireless-A/B/G router that's not in use, so can I use that as a wireless card since I don't have one? I tried bridging by installing DD-WRT firmware into the router, but I have to change the settings every single time I want to check into a different router. I think making it into a wireless card would be easier, but I don't know if that's possible.
Is it?
