how to proxy a port/protocal into sock5 service?


ive setup a sock5(shadowsocks) server at remote vps

now im at home with a centos7 pc,and it works fine with proxy http(s) through my remote vps to blocked website

my purpose is,proxy telnet-port:23 for a mud game into my remote vps through sock5,for better connection

how can i do then?thanks!

Hi,

I use tsocks for this sort of thing. And yes, it is ancient but Debian still packages it.

Another option is proxychains but I haven't used that for some time.

I'm not sure if there are packages for CentOS7.

but after i installed tsocks,there isnt tsocks.conf created,something wrong?

Hi,

how did you install it. Did it come documentation and or examples?
A simple config would be something like

server = socksserver.mydoman.com
server_port = 6666

yeah,i did what you said,but the tinyfugue got errors:

% Trying to connect to mud: 11.11.11.11 23.16:28:00 libtsocks(26589): SOCKS server 22.22.22.22 (22.22.22.22) is not on a local subnet!

% Connection to mud failed: 11.11.11.11 23: Connection refused

yep,installed from yum repo

and added the /ect/tsocks.conf manually
