Question how to configure gateway on redhat 9???


i need to configure my default gateway on red hat linux 9 i want to put this gateway 10.10.1.1 can somebody help me pliz??????

route add default gw 10.10.1.1

You will also have to delete the old route if you are changing it from another address.

route delete default gw x.x.x.x

Also, dont forget to edit the startup script, and change the default gateway to the new address, or it will not be there when you reboot.
