I use dyndns.org

Their are scripts that check you external IP, and then if changed... will change your IP address with dyndns.org

I have been using it for about 1 1/2 years.. no problems..

You need to do a bit of reading.

Specifically, read up on m4 (macro for configuring sendmail.cf). You're looking for :

MASQUERADE_AS(`mysite.com')dnl
MASQUERADE_DOMAIN(`.mysite.com')dnl

um.. I think. it's been a while

Slick.

You change the .mc, run m4 over it and create the .cf

so, you would do like :

m4 sendmail.mc >/etc/mail/sendmail.cf

Editing .cf directly is possible, but it's hideously obscure, contains *tons* of gotcha's and only for the insane.

Do be *very* careful when setting this up though, and make sure to read up on 'open relays', ensure you don't enable relaying without knowing what you're doing, or you'll find yourself shut down faster than you can mix yourself a chocolate & fudge ice-cream milkshake.
