FTP server


I am in an OS class and we are attempting to make an FTP/HTTP server. we got the ftp server created but can't gain access. please advise if you are able to point me in the right direction.

Do you mean you can't login to the ftp server or you don't have access to start/configure the web server? Please post as much information as you can about the problem including the commands you ran and the text from any error messages.
