Finding a wireless adapter compatable with Win8 and Linux

Hey guys I am searching for a powerful wireless adapter that I can use with Kali Linux and use aircrack-ng but still be able to use for Windows 8. Everything thing I find is Win8 only or Linux and Win7 and below. I have been looking at the ALFA AWUS036 models but I'm not finding one that will work with both OS's. Anyone have any other ones worth checking out? Sorry if this should be posted in Hardware by the way, I wasn't sure which to post this question in. As stated I want to be able to make full use of Kali and still use it in Windows 8 for gaming. Am I stuck buying two separate adapters?

Hi...

No, from what I'm reading on the Kali forums, this adapter does work with Linux, although some folks have had problems. I found this post by soxrock2212 here. From that, I'm guessing that having the RTL8187L chipset is critical. Make sure to get a unit that has this chipset, like the one mentioned here.

Regards...
