I would like to know if I can set up Fedora 4 as a PDC with LDAP and Samba and join a windows XP computer to the Domain so that the users can use a user name and pass word to log on, I was reading a post in a forum and someone say that I can't join the XP to the Linux Domain.
Can someone help me out, cause I don't want to buy a Win2k server for my company.
you can, yes. it's a big topic though, so we can't just give a step by step guide. check the documentation at samba.org and google does provide a LOT of useful (although it can be outdated)
