FA311 works great

I just wanted to tell all the people out there having problems with there Netgear card that RH 7.2 now automatically supports the card. If yours doesn't then you didn't install RedHat correctly. If you have an older version of RedHat and still don't have a connection, then if you download new images, it'll work for sure.
Redhat will recognize and install it for you automatically upon install, and you should have a connection immediately upon the first boot.

The reason why it didn't work for me the first time was because I had my card in a different PCI slot. For some wierd reason, it didn't report any IRQ number when giving the lspci -v command, but all I did was move the card to a PCI slot closer on the board to the processor, and the card was detected correctly.

Other than that, FA311 users should not have problems with their cards under RedHat any longer!

Good luck!

Glad you got it sorted out.

With PCI cards, sometimes the slot-swap trick is the only way to force the system to assign the card a new and/or non-conflicting IRQ.
