eth0 fails at boot...on a dell laptop!

I posted this to the laptop forum, but i figured i would post it here also...any help would be awesome!

SO, eth0 keeps failing on boot with my Dell Inspiron 3500 (yes, I know it's an old laptop!). So, I've tried lots of suggestions from other threads, but the funny thing is that I can connect once i'm logged in if I pop my nic out and then pop it back in...any suggestions? BTW, I'm running fedora with KDE (latest installation, but not the test suite). Thanks

Please do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Picking the most relevant forum and posting it once there makes it easier for other members to help you and keeps the discussion all in one place.
