Domain worked now what???


Well I was able to succesfully join the domain. It added my machine account to the smbpasswd file. Now when I try and logon it says my account or password is bad. I tried root. No luck. What now????

have u added your username using smbpasswd?

If i am right you had create succesfully a domain server
i wan`t also create a domain server but it doesn`t work
can you tell me how you create it

i am using suse8.1 and want to create a samba server with a domain server!

but when i logon with a win98 clients it can`t find any dns servers so .... help me

please

Post your smb.conf file...It is likely that you have something in there that is incorrect like dns proxy=yes

I thought i had changed everything except dns proxy

now it works fine a lot of troubles for one stupied setting

tanks for your subscribe i have work for 3 weeks on it but i get it real good now thats one positive point of my investigation for samba now i can write my script for skool
