domain names in foreign languages

Googling on the subject brings an answer saying that some UTF8 characters are not permitted in the composition of domain names and other answers only lead to TLD of foreign countries with ASCII domain names.
What I want to do is translate for example: "my-domain" in foreign languages and register "my-domain" and 我的域名 (Chinese) 내-도메인 (Korean) โดเมนของฉัน (Thai) etc.
Is there any problem with that? Can someone suggest suitable info?

Thank you for your help.

And I've been thinking this is the reason that self-signed certs are no longer "valid" in some software.
