Question Diald and Squid

Hi,

I've got an interesting problem.
Im currently using Redhat 8.0 and Diald 1.0

I've setup a dialup server with squid proxy software for a client of mine. For some reason, squid make a udp connection to our nameserver from udp port 1024, when every computer in the business is off. It does this randomly it would appear.

This of course brings up the link, when nobody is around and is costing money.

I know you can use the -D option with squid to stop the initial DNS testing, but is there a way to stop the random dns query from the cache.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Craig
