Problem with diald
I have read that diald is an outomatic dialer. So I downloaded and ran the script. when I run diald, I get the message "dial-up script has failed".
Questions:

Is there a way to fix the problem?
Is diald worth the effort, or should I move on?
i use mserver, which is kinda similar to diald i think. I had to create proper dialup scripts to get it working, chap, chat and things like thing using pppd, not just wvdial settings. Sounds like a great program really, shame my house only has one phone line...
OK, So you're a traveller... why exactly does a traveller need a network????

Life without dial up networking is like a day without sunshine
I use dial-up networking every day to:
- Stay in touch with the news
- Stay in touch with friends
- Buy hardware and software
- Buy books and clothing
- Get help to get out of trouble with linux
- Play games
- chat
- etc
- etc
- etc
