DHCP failover?

What is the best way to handle ISC DHCP failover? I've read different solutions, but can't determine the most effective one.

This is on SLES 9.

What exactly are you referring to?

Having two servers, one acting as the backup for the other? Or something else?

We are looking to provide failover not so much load balancing. Of course, if there is a feesisble solution for both, I would be interested. So far, this is what I'm looking into.

I have also read a little about subnetworks I think they are called.

Thanks, Ryan
