Debian router machine

Hi,

I've tried to set up an old computer to act as a router. I've used debian Woody to do this. As a firewall I'm using PMfirewall, but I have a problem.

The computers in the network can ping the server, but I can't get them to connect to the internet. What could be the cause? Something with ipchains? Because when I start PMfirewall it gives me an ipchains error, like ipchains is not started. ip_forwarding is on though.
