Fedora Machine not in router list
I go to the list of connected machines in my router and every single one of my windows computers are there. Is there anything I can do to get the router to recognize my fedora machine?

What machine is your router and how is it indexing the connected machines??
That's the first thing you need to find out.. Depending on that you shall be able to get the linux machine listed.

Also, what are you using for your router, another Linux machine (what build etc.) or something else?

And finally, what do you mean by "recognize"?
Is it a Q of the hostname not showing up? Many "routers" will show "Winders" NetBIOS names & trick the unsuspecting into thinking their GNU/Linux boxen are invisible. What Samba services are you running on FC?
Which FC?

Giving the Linux machine a HostName made it display on my Belkin Router Client List. Maybe it is the same for yours?
