Question cupsys

I get this in my cups/error.log :
E [28/Apr/2006:01:57:06 +0200] SLPReg of "sample" failed with status -20!
E [28/Apr/2006:01:57:28 +0200] [cups-polld 192.168.1.6:631] Unable to connect to 192.168.1.6 on port 631: Connection refused

I have this in my cups.conf BrowsePoll 192.168.1.6:631 and a Listen 127.0.0.1:631
they must be the same ip aren't they ?
BrowserPoll is who is allowed to browse the cupsys "httpd" correct?
I'm using relaxed tcpwrappers in the cups.conf Allow From All and authclass Anonymous authtype None in all <Location>but it still doesn't let me print a test page :
An error occurred while loading

http://printer.server:631/printers/s...int-test-page:
ould not connect to my.printer.server.HP (port 631).

how comes ???Is this BroserPoll essential for a printer.server ?I would like some hints!
Sorry if sometimes ask for things i can find out about by myself it 's just my way to see softwares problems and also share opinions with people using linux from longer than me.In my area , napoli , i'm the only one i know using linux debian!
Thanks!

The "Listen" you have says not to listen on the ethernet, but only on the internal loopback instead. You need to change it to listen on the address that goes with the ethernet interface.

Also, if the printers are connected directly to the print server, you should take the "BrowsePoll" out. (It tells the print server that the printers are actually somewhere else, on yet another machine.)

Now the server is allright ,cheers !The server name in the client.conf has to be the one where the client is,and the BrowserRelay has to be server client not client server. On the client i have used the BrowserPoll pointing to the server address and the wrappers all allow my subnet and localhost Deny All,i left the port 631,authtype None authclass Anonymous but it doesn'let me in ,noless!I'm still talking of the cupsd on the client machine.Cupsys can act as client and as server?Or would be enough to have one cupsys where the printer is and than on the clients configure the /var/run/cups/printcap?I haven't found still a good guide of this file i recon it is important.Cupsys doesn't have a command for printing it uses the unix lp,right?which is server and client, right?
What's the best to configure clients?

CUPS provides its own version of several commands:
Code:
cancel
lpstat
lp
accept
lpadmin
enable
disable
reject
There are others if you install the CUPS BSD clients package as well.

As for how to configure the client side of it, I don't really know. I'm only familiar with network printers that plug directly into the switch.
