CUPS sees bad printservers

Hi,

In our local network there are two installed printservers both using cups.

The difference between both is that one sends it browsinginfo to specifiek IP (call this one server1) and supprots the latest ppd files of the printers, the second one sends its browsinginfo to x.x.x.255 and doesnt has any printer that works proper.

Since sever1 sends browsinginfo to my IP, I can see the good server with my cups. Although I also see the bad ones.

How can I make sure that cups only sees server1 and not server2

I tried already by putting them in hosts.deny or even in the cupsd.conf file but it didnt work.

Thanks

Klaas

Well, you could use iptables to drop packets from the bad host... but I guess the question is: why is there this server on the network if it's no good?
