Partitioner sees nothing

I have a system with two disks, one (basic) primary disk (80Gb) with two partitions, the first partition being NTFS (45Gb), the second partition is empty (35Gb), the second disk (80Gb) is dynamic fat32, no OS installed. I wan't Ubuntu on the second partition of the primary disk.

This disk/partition-information is shown and editable with the partitioner of Debian but the partitioner of Ubuntu (Breezy) sees nothing, it only shows 6 questionmarks where the normaly I would be able to choose to format one of my disks or manual edit, the two buttons (Continue and Cancel I think it is) are also shown.. The buttons don't work, I cannot cancel the partitioner.

I don't understand why Debian has no problem seeing my disks and installs without problem but Ubuntu sees nothing.

Anyone having an idea?

Mark.
