Question Could not look up dhcp-14-140? (gnome, fc1)

I installed FC1 the other day, and right since the first boot, whenever I log in, before the desktop pops up, i get this message:

Could not look up internet address for dhcp-14-140. This will cause gnome to not work properly. You could try to add dhcp-14-140 to etc/hosts...

After I click "log in anyway", gnome loads and everything seems fine. I just want to kill this problem before it turns big down the road. I have direct cable access, running a motorola sb4200 cable modem, if that impacts this problem.

Any ideas? I added dhcp-14-140 to etc/hosts and on reboot the message came up anyway...

I suspect is is your dynamic hostname.. type hostname in a terminal and see if it is.

It needs to be added to /etc/hosts in the localhost line, eg
127.0.0.1 localhost localhost.localdomain dhcp-14-140
