When I select Restart Computer from Logout/Shutdown/Restart in gnome, my system goes through the normal sequence of restarting and says it is going to restart, but instead, shuts down.
I am using set up to dual boot between FC1 and Win2K using grub. Any ideas?
You're right, the problem was with a power management setting in the BIOS, particularly the setting corresponding to which state the system should be returned to after a power outage. Thanks for the direction!
