Red face Check Point FireWall


Hello

I am tring to set up check point, i am following the instructions from the installation manual.
when i run the ./UnixInstallScript i recive an error can not find libncurses.so.4 Library.

Can you tell me where to get hold of this library and install it or what i need to do?

What distribution are you running. If you are running one of the simple ones (like RedHat or Mandrake) you can go to rpmfind.net and get it from there in rpm format. Otherwise, you can sift through your install CD's (via dpkg/dselect if you use Debian or pkgtool if you use Slackware) looking for the library.

I need to install in on both redhat and Slackware 8.

P.S. i do not have a clue about dpkg/dselect debain or pkgtool but i will look into it.

You need ncurses, a console display lib
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/e...5.2-8.i386.rpm

there is a rpm for redhat 7.1

to install it just type:

rpm -ivh ncurses-5.2-8.i386.rpm
