Cant login after moving to new NIS server

Hi,

So we have a solairs nis server at the moment and all of the clients are working fine. Ive now brought up a new nis server from which I can bind to etc etc .. but when I try and login as a user I get persmission denied

On login (ssh) I get Permission denied, please try again.

I can login as root and then su - <username> without a problem - so Im guessing its something to do with the shadow file on the nis server ?

Thoughts ?
