Can connect to the internet with wifi

Im using Fedora 14, and I use mifi2372 for wireless wifi. The device is new and it will not connect to my laptop. Im sure the device is okay however I dont know about my laptop. The switch that turns on wifi does not turn blue. Is there a quick fix? Thank you for your advice.

Hello,

Can you post the output of the following commands for me so I can help troubleshoot?
Code:
lspci
lsmod
ifconfig -a
I need the output so I can further troubleshoot your problem. lspci will give me the needed specs so I can determine what exact device you have, and using that, I can track it down, and let you know what all you need to do, if I find the correct information.

Cheers,

Josh

PS - Please note: If the device is USB-based, let me know, as instead of lspci, you will need to use lsusb

Hello,

The commands that I will need you to run are the following:
Code:
lsusb
lsmod
ifconfig-a
And yes, you run them from a terminal. I need you to copy and paste the output of the commands into a new post, and also when you do, please use code tags. Thanks!

Josh

You need to run that command as root. Type su - in the terminal, enter your root password and post the output.
