Can't access the net using static IP on Fedora.

I've just installed Fedora 3, after the installation I run the PC under my LAN-zone where I have a DHCP-server and I could access the net just fine.

When I moved the server to my DMZ-zone where I use static it stoped working.
The IP-settings that I use is:

IP: 213.115.151.180
Subnet: 255.255.255.240
Default GW: 213.115.254.145

When I try pinging the Default GW or any other IP not in the subnet I get:
connect: Network is unreachable.

If I use netstat -r I get:

Kernel IP routing table
Destination Gateway Genmask Flags MSS Window irtt Iface
213.115.151.176 * 255.255.255.240 U 0 0 0 eth0
169.254.0.0 * 255.255.0.0 U 0 0 0 eth0

I can acces the PC from within the DMZ-zone, the settings work on Windows Server 2003.

Is there some routering setting I have to use when the GW is on another subnet?

i think you need to use the command, and maybe someone can correct me on this....

#route add gw --space-- (ip address of the gateway to the internet)

that should work. cuz the gateway knows how to reach the other network you have, and it knows the way to the internet.

might need

#route add -net 0.0.0.0 netmask 0.0.0.0 gw (ip address of gateway to the internet)

0.0.0.0 there means the internet. i may be wrong.

IP: 213.115.151.180
Subnet: 255.255.255.240
Default GW: 213.115.254.145

Given the ip/subnet info you posted, your default gateway is incorrect. Typically, the default GW is set to the low or high end of the addressable range for that network address. i.e.

213.115.151.176 - network address
213.115.151.177 - 213.115.151.190 - addressable range
213.115.151.191 - broadcast address

It works on Win 2003 Server and it's the info I got from my ISP so I don't think the GW is wrong.
Can it be anything else??

Are you sure you're reading the w2k3 server route tables correctly? Again - given the ip/netmask you posted, the listed default gateway (that is posted) is incorrect. Octets 3 & 4 fall outside the addressable range shown in my previous post.

Suggestion: Why don't you post the output of "route print" from your w2k3 server.
