Access my pc from net


I use rh 9.
How could i access my pc from both window and linux local network.
I can see every other pc from mine but no one see me .... why ....
show me what should i do now ...

Help ....

If you want to remotely administer your RH box you can set up an SSH server and use PuTTY from Windows to access it.

If you want to your RH box to be able to share files and print services you should check out Samba.

II take it you have a working NIC, IP address either staticly assigned or from DHCP, and can ping other systems across the network, other machines can ping you, but can't "see" your RH9 machine from either other Windows machine or other Linux machines. Your machine doesn't show up in netstats or Win Network Neighborhood ??
