Autoload driver

I am installing gentoo and need to know which drivers to auto load for my ethernet to work oce I compile the krenel. When I load the live CD it finds the eth0 no prob but then when it gives me a choice of which drivers to load for network I have like 30 to choose from. Is there some way I can see which driver the live cd loaded? I know this may sound confusing but I am a noob so jsut ask and I will try to give more ifo if needed.
