Question Authentification squid

Hi all,

I have installed a squid proxy cache on my Linux Suse 8.2 and it works very good. It's so easy to configure.

But i have a question about authentification.

When i run an explorer on my PC, i have a direct access to Internet (via the proxy) but i want to secure the access with a authentification prompt when a user wants to go on Internet.

How can i set it with Proxy ?
I want that the authentification program (if possible) use the Linux users.

Is it possible ?

Thanks a lot for your support.

Lon life to Linux !!
