Accessing Yahoo Messenger through proxy Server

Hi,

I am using yahoo messenger and i logged into the yahoo server through the proxy server of our company. Though I am able to log into yahoo messenger, it doesn't get refreshed automatically. It continues to show the same status of my friends in the list as it was when i logged in. When I try to refresh it manually, it gives me the error message that I've logged through some other system so I am being logged out of this system.

I am working on Red Hat 9.0
