Accessing virtual servers externally

I have set up to name based virtual servers, which from inside the network by serverone:81 and bob:81. I'm a little confused how I would be able to access them externally. I don't have a dns, I just use my ip address. Doing bob.xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx doesn't do anything. Putting just the ip gibes me one of the servers. So, how can I access my other virtual servers externally? Thanks.

You can't without DNS. Name-based implies that it relies on what Host: header the client is passing in order to determine which site to display.
