Lightbulb watching who accessing servers by remotly !!!

Hi,

This is some thing releted to server monitoring.

I am handling server,(DNS/cable and mail/web)

and i want to know,

"Who accessing or remotly try to access on my server."

and "how can i know which services/pacakges(like nmap) run by remote user on my server"

and "who try to accessing my server (by ftp or telnet)" or can i know, remote user's ip/hostname,"who try access remotly"

or is there any other way to monitoring.

Thanks in Adv.

Check out the "Snort" package. www.snort.org - it will log server access, and is highly configurable as to what information it captures.
