Smile How to install samsung kies in ubuntu


hiii friends.....
I am using galaxy tab 7.0. I ant to tether it through usb and connect to internet in ubuntu...how to do it???
Is there kies for linux??help me plzzzzzzz

Kies was for Windows and Mac only when I researched it at the beginning of October 2011.

Probably but the question will attract more answers if you start a new thread and say which "tab" it is -- and if you have netsearched for the answer first.

@catkin I have googled a lot on this but all in vain.Is there any other way of doing this without Kies?

I don't know, not being familiar with the Samsung Galaxy tablet. Further comment in your new thread.

you can share your internet connection either with the USB cable or with Wifi

Disable data network mode in ur Samsung. Connect it throufh USB to ur machine, wait for few seconds, put ur mouse near Network manager applet u can see a notification for new dialup creator. Viola, it's done..Simple..
