script worked in earlier version but not Mint 17?

Hello all.

I had made a script to autoinstall updates via cron.

It worked both in earlier versions of LinuxMint and Ubuntu, but not in Linux Mint 17 Cinnamon??

The script is this:

Quote:

#!/bin/bash
sudo aptitude update -y
sudo aptitude safe-upgrade -y
sudo dpkg --configure -a
sudo aptitude autoclean

Any ideas that might be wrong?

My first thought is you are not in the sudoers list?

I have read about sudoers list and I think that is the problem, but found only info for Debian. What to do?(which file to enter what?)
I know the root/sudo difference between Debian and Ubuntu/Linux Mint.

adduser <username> sudoers i think it is some rascal using my computer right now so its probably sudo or sudoers the group
