Thanks!
dpkg --print-architecture returns:
Code:
herman@herman-ThinkPad-T460s ~ $ dpkg --print-architecture
amd64
dpkg --print-foreign-architectures returns:
Code:
herman@herman-ThinkPad-T460s ~ $ dpkg --print-foreign-architectures
i386
armhf
Hurray! Finally I see a reference
"armhf" that refers to the ARM codebase. So now I read up on the dpkg and now have some understanding of dpkg and the architecture system.
So now I did the following:
Code:
herman@herman-ThinkPad-T460s ~ $ sudo dpkg --remove-architecture armhf
... and this returned no error. That gives some hope!
So I proceeded with
sudo apt update and it actually works again! Only the GPG public key is missing however that may be due to some problem seeking I did before trying to get to the problem. Now I did a
sudo apt upgrade and it is upgrading beautifully right now doing 146 package upgrades!
Thanks for your help, I think this might just have done the trick! I think I might have done something wrong when installing the
Mono framework. You really made my day helping me.
