Mint 17.1 Bluetooth not receiving after recent update
I am running LM 17.1 Cinnamon x64 Desktop. Yesterday my Bluetooth stopped receiving files. Nothing had been changed and I could still send files to paired devices. Bluetooth adaptor is working - checked by booting up my old LM15 Cinnamon OS which I keep on the HDD - everything worked fine with that OS.
My wife's computer running LM17.1 Mate had exactly the same problem.
Both had received updates in the last few days.
In trying to sort the problem by re-installing Bluez/Blueman etc something corrupted my Cinnamon and after the login screen I only got a cursor on a black background. To get out ot this I had to access Terminal on boot and install Xfce and then re-install Cinnamon. VERY frustrating. Bluetooth still not working on either m/c.
Looks like an update has screwed something?
Help!
