I am really glad that we now have a Linux Mint forum. I have been a Debian user for quite a few years now, but it is Linux Mint that has allowed me to turn my work laptop to 100% linux and use it to maintain microsoft networks. My older Gateway 7330GZ laptop running LM 4 with Compiz outperforms my co-workers new powerful Dell Vista laptops; I love it!

I am still using LM 4, but plan on upgrading to LM 6 next week while on vacation.
