I am wondering if anyone has used these "clamshell" zauruses (or is it zauri?). if so, i'd be curious as to want they thought about it.
i am looking for a handheld / laptop device. something which easily interfaces with my linux desktops / servers locally and remotely.
these SL series zauri seem to look pretty cool, but i'm not sure they've been released in the US. i would be really interested to know if they are worth the hype i am giving them.
they have to be cool right? I mean my 5500 is already impressive, I'd do backflips for a nice shiny clamshell with a 640x480 (is that the right size?) screen size.
yes, 640x480. and from what i read, the CG LCD (continuous grain?) is wondrous to behold. i also am reading that indeed these SL-C (clamshell) series are available only in japan. you can still buy them, though.
Dynamism.com offers all the cool gadets from japan, including the SL-C devices.
